Just a quick note for those of you using the script that there is a defect in the contact.php file that can allow a spammer to send emails out through your account. To be safe, I'd recommend deleting contact.php from your server. This was discovered by my host who noticed a large volume of emails being distributed from the contact.php file on the server. I've since removed that file from all my sites until a solution can be developed.

Sorry Folks. I've stopped working on SASS in favor of a new site that I've been working on for quite some time. This new site is an affiliate site that allows you to create a store and add affiliates of your choice. The new site then generates JavaScript or PHP that in simply insert into your HTML pages where you would like the store displayed. If you get a chance, test out the new site at www.pogostores.com. The site takes all the hard work of creating a script, maintaining data feeds, and updating your site.

I've made a very small change to the SASS script so that you can now use the NEW Shareasale datafeeds that don't have your id in the feed. Two files where changed. The config.php file needs to be updated with your Shareasale ID, and the parse.php file in the admin directory was changed slightly. I have not had a chance to test it, but I've tested the changes on another script and it was working well for the feeds that I tried.

The long awaited Overstock script is now available in the download section. Sorry for the delay. The script still has a few bugs, so please let me know of any problems you find. The installation is simple, as there is no database needed. Simply change the config.php file with your info, and upload to your server.

Knifesite made a small change to their data feed. The categories were moved from custom5 to custom 4. The script has been updated to reflect that change.

Happy new year. There was a bug in the script that I've corrected that had to do with some deprecated PHP code. I've corrected that as well as made a minor change to the product screen to show a "buy now" button rather than text. It look a little more professional. This update is now available in the download section (version 1.1).

Yikes. I've accidentally messed up the script by omitting the bTmeplate.php script in the templates sub-directory. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have causes. The script has been corrected and is now available for download.

Announcing the first release of the Shareasale script (SASS). It's been a few months since I stated this project, and it's been a real learning experience. My experience and knowledge of PHP and web development has increased considerably. This project was really my first attempt at creating a PHP driven web site. The only other PHP programming I developed was a simple page to help a few friends share season hockey tickets.
